BIOGRAPHY
Professional Designer, Draftsman & Construction Manager
My name is Jasmyne Rogers and I have been in the building and design industry since 2005 but have been interested in architecture and design from my youngest memories. At a very early age I started drawing, painting and playing with spaces. Art is my passion, my life and who I am at my core.
My main objective when approaching any project is creating a space that reflects the most important variable...YOU! I want people to walk in your house and know immediately who’s home it is simply because everything about it says "I'm yours!" I do not want my jobs to reflect my own “style,” rather create each project as It’s own unique and custom piece of art. I interview my clients deeply on the way they live, from hobbies, entertainment, children & grandchildren to their favorite pieces of art and cities. I also find it important to know what you DON’T care for.
Starting with interior design school at 17, I started working and managing a home design center. While I worked here I attended The Art institute studying interior design and drafting. At the design center I ran several crews weekly doing multiple jobs, ordered all product, built relationships with all of the local contractors and vendor connection as well. In 2010 I branched out on my own and also married one of those cute and talented contractors. Together we have built and designed dozens of home throughout Lincoln county, ranging in budget from $200,000 to $2,000,000. Although we are no longer married we still work closely together as we have a great friendship, work relationship and two children together.
Although residential design and construction make up most of my experience and clientele I have had some amazing commercial projects as well. In 2014 I was commissioned to redesign 3 restaurants and a ballroom space at Holloman Air Force base. In 2017 I started working for Ruidoso Downs Race track starting with turning the press box into a lavish owners suite and then the following off seasons completely remodeling the Turf Club and parts of the casino. from custom made carpet to custom made light fixtures I designed each aspect closely with the manager of the Track and managed all sub/contractors. I have worked on salons, studios and office spaces as well.
